Ok, so Joel and I have had a little discussion over here regarding his beard. I absolutely LOVE it!!! But Joel has a thing about being clean cut when he goes to the temple. Our dilemna is we are going to be taking pictures next week after we get sealed and I would love for him to have a beard which poses the problem because he wants to be clean cut inside the temple. So my question is to all of you out there, Is it ok for joel to wear a beard to the temple? Or is it disrespectful and should he shave for our sealing ceremony? Please vote and comment if you've got somethin' to say! I would love to hear it. Cause really if you're against it I need you to talk me out of it.

What Sachia said... I dont think it's disrespectful at all. (It's like telling a girl she has to have short hair if you really want to go there...) I personally LOVE scruff and never wanted to go to BYU cuz I think guys are sexy with scruff and baseball caps! If it's what you both want to do, do it! But it's not worth being angry at eachother for so comprimise like instead of a full beard... do short scruff... or something. OR he can buy a fake beard and put it on after the sealing for pictures! LOL! That is my 2 cents.
OR... just have a goat instead of a beard! I think that is hot!
I love that this is such a big thing and I'm really excited to see what ends up happening on Friday! I will give you a call or email you in a couple days to make sure I have times and locations correct, and maybe get the phone number from you that you mentioned a couple of weeks ago.

So what did you guys decide?? I am a fan of the scruff as well...hoping that Ty leaves it for when it's our turn. :) I can't remember the last time he has really shaved. He trims it up but never all the way clean.
